As I had mentioned in my previous post, I have been working on this hat pattern for some time now. The Dip Toque is now available on Ravlery or in the Featured Products page. I absolutely love this hat and the "dipped" top, but like so many others, the greatest part about this unique pattern is that it's available in every size and gauge you can imagine. The hat itself is also available as a slouchy toque or fitted beanie with a flat or cuffed brim.
I whipped up a few samples using random variables to show how the pattern can be pieced together. From left to right, here are the features I included in each sample hat:
Size | Adult Small, Yarn Weight | Super Bulky, Brim | Flat, Hat Style | Fitted Beanie;
Size | Adult Medium, Yarn Weight | Worsted, Brim | Folded, Hat Style | Slouchy Toque;
Size | Kid (18-20"), Yarn Weight | DK, Brim | Folded, Hat Style | Fitted Beanie,
I know that I'm sort of biased, but I just think these are the cutest! And, of course, I opted to add pom-poms of various sizes on each of my hats in the contrasting color. The pattern costs a whopping $7 but it's well worth the price for the use you'll be able to get out of it.
I can't wait to find out what you all think!
