5am to 8pm in the car. Yes, I forgot my camera - but I’m not letting it stop me. No way. We were tired and hungry and the resort seemed like a maze and we were the mice but we found the ocean at our back door. My mother-in-law, one of her sisters, Mae, and I made our way across the sand to the surf. The wind was blowing the little one’s hair this way and that but the chill didn’t stop her from hiking up her pant legs and letting the waves lick her feet. Walking with her under the silver moon with the ferris wheel in the distance was the cherry on my sundae.
