Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

This shawl is worked back and forth in rows from the center neck down and outward to the points. When working a M1L or M1R increase over a yarnover, pick up a leg from the stitch below to work the increase. When working a M1L or M1R increase
at the center stitch and over two yarnovers, use each leg of the stitch below to increase.
A circular needle is used to accommodate the large number of stitches.
