when the snowflakes storm.

today i packed up my dried plantains and evian and headed for west lafayette.  rarely do i cross city lines so being in the car for even one hour straight is taxing on my nerves, but US 52 was very pastoral and so lightly travelled that i couldn’t complain.  i listened to the Smiths and Hedwig and the Angry Inch.

Biz and i walked about downtown Lafayette in the cold and rain.  we spotted some yarn through the windows of this Ding-a-Ling shop but by the time we made it across the street the place was closed for the day:

the big door prize.

a braver, newer world.
